To access Activator, you will need your Vault credentials to be active. Log into Vault Promomats at https://login.veevavault.com to ensure they are working as expected. Afterwards, access your specific Activator URL at https://example.activator.cloud/ and enter your Vault credentials.

NB: Some Vault Promomats installations implements a Single-Sign-On (SSO) service to enable users to sign into Vault Promomats. If your organization uses SSO to sign into Promomats, you might not be able to login to Activator directly, using your Promomats credentials. Instead, open Activator from within Vault Promomats, using a Promomats document in Draft state, often referred to as an “Access document”.

What documents can I edit?

The documents that you can edit will be restricted by the permissions you have on them. By default, there are three levels: Viewer, Editor and Owner. But there are many more roles with different assignments, depending on the country, product, etc. Activator is made to work and be able to save material when you have at least the same level of permissions as an editor. If you are in doubt you have the right permission set, contact your Vault Administrator to have your account updated.

How should I name my content?

Naming conventions are relevant, but they depend on the content creation guidelines each company has. We recommend to check with each brand team to ensure this information aligns with corporate good practices, specially referred to monitoring.

How do I translate a project?

You have different options: You can use the XLIFF/Excel generator provided by Activator in which each slide can generate an industry standard file to be shared with any translation agency. Alternatively, a translator with access to Activator can perform the text edits directly in the tool, using different text editing tools in Activator. For more information feel free to review the walk through guide in the Support Portal.
