Can you restore a document I deleted in Activator?

No, Activator and the Anthill team cannot restore Vault object records once they are deleted. The user needs to create a new object record, instead.

If you need to restore deleted Documents from Vault your option is to open a ticket with Veeva Support and provide the following information:

  • Vault ID of the Vault from which the document was deleted.

  • Document number of the deleted document. (This can be found in the Document Audit History, under the Logs tab in the Admin menu).

Note: Only Veeva Support can restore deleted documents. Versions of a document cannot be restored. Documents deleted beyond 30 days ago may not be available for restoration. Document to Document relationships do not get restored and these are listed in the Audit trail.
