Finding Content by Document Type
Selecting one of the options below will filter your view to present content of that type in the Dashboard.

Binders | A binder is a collection of objects in Vault. Some Binders have specific lifecycles and therefore perform a function beyond Vault, for example they are typically used to control the order of Multichannel Slides in a Multichannel Presentation. |
Briefs | Briefs allow you to create content for different channels besides Emails and slides e.g. a Landing page for your brands web-presence. |
Emails | Depending on your organization’s Activator configuration you may have the option to create and publish Emails for multiple platforms. Emails The default type of Email you can create in Activator is referred to as an “Activator Email”, “Rep Triggered Email”, “Customised Email” or a “1:1 Email”. Emails allow you to send tailored pre-approved content through Email without compromising compliance or regulatory aspects of the communication. An Activator Email is sent to an individual customer (one-to-one) and therefore different from marketing email, which is sent to a list of many recipients (one-to-many). An Email Template is a predesigned email message containing relevant information about a specific topic. Approved Email allows email templates to be customizable. Activator also allows you to create and edit Email Fragments used in Veeva CLM. Other Email Formats Activator can also support the creation for Emails for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, IQVIA’s OCE platform, or other Email platforms such as Marketo. Enabling these Email formats is controlled by the Activator configuration selected by your organization. |
Slides | eDetails ( also called IVAs, ISAs or DVAs ) are interactive sales aids used by field Reps in their commercial engagement with HCPs. Activator allows you to create these by combining multiple Slides into Binders that organize the order of your content. In Promomats these are called Multichannel Slide documents. A Multichannel Slide can be filled with interactive elements, media and other content to present your Brand to HCPs. |
Design Systems | Activator uses Design Systems in manage fonts, color definitions and other elements such as Layouts and Templates for a Brand. Design Systems can store media that is used by multiple Slides/Briefs/Emails to help optimise loading times and simplify authoring. The files inside a shared resource are most often altered and maintained by a creative agency. |
