How does Activator work with Veeva Promomats?

Quick overview of Promomats

Veeva Vault/PromoMats provides a repository for all of your reusable digital assets like documents, pictures, videos, and creative files. PromoMats also manages your organization’s business processes and workflows such as the MLR process for publishing approval and the User and User Permissions controls.

How does Activator integrate?

Activator communicates with PromoMats through the Veeva Vault REST API. We have built Activator functionality on the foundation provided by Promomats, aligned to Veeva Best Practices which allow us to provide seamless creation, editing, and publishing of content directly in PromoMats using Activator.

What is Activator?

Activator is a standalone SaaS application that allows you to create and localize Presentations, Emails, or Briefs using Digital Assets, Design Systems and Modular Content managed by Promomats in a seamless experience.

Is Activator outside Promomats?

Activator is not an “external system” to Promomats, but simply a new way of working in Promomats. The source-code for your Email, Slide or Briefing content is always stored in Promomats to ensure that Promomats is truly the single source of truth for your entire content supply chain.

How does Activator save my content?

Every time you click 'Publish' Button in Activator, your content source-code is saved as a new version in PromoMats along with all of the relationships to the Digital Assets and Content Modules you’ve imported.
