How to Use Modular Content

Modular Content is pre-approved content snippets that are stored in your DAM that you can link to certain content elements in your Activator Layouts. This means that you can quickly use pre-approved content pieces to fill the layout of your Email or Slide.

Importing Modular Content

Use the Content->Modules menu and click on the Import Content Modules button to browse available content stored in your DAM

• Use the filters to narrow down your search

• Click on the module to preview its content

• Add a check-mark and click Import

The imported modules can be found in the Content->Modules menu.

How to use Modular Content

Select a Layout and click on the stack icon on the right hand side of a field.

All the available modules that were imported will show up. You can scroll through them all and select a suitable one. Once you have made your choice, the system will notify you that you can only use one module per layout. In the example, an image from CM-000012 was selected.

Any other content, such as text, is therefore also taken from CM-000012 for this Layout:

Detaching Modular Content

Click on the Detach to unlink the content from the module. Note that the selected image and text remains in the field on the Layout.

In order to select another module, all fields must be detached.
