DS2 is the legacy Design System format in Activator. A DS2 system is essentially a static folder/file structure that defines the building blocks used by authors.

Use the DS2 documentation if your tenant:

Still stores Design System resources as file structures

Maintains DS2 systems as-is

Has not migrated to DS3 (and doesn’t need DS3 governance yet)
