A Collection is a curated group of Slide documents (eDetailers or web presentations) that are packaged and distributed together as a single unit. Collections allow teams to organise related slides into a coherent presentation without duplicating individual documents.
Typical use cases:
-
Grouping product slides into a complete eDetailer programme
-
Assembling a market-specific variant of a presentation from shared slides
-
Organising approved slide sets for a therapeutic area or campaign
Varies by tenant (Anthill-managed)
Collections must be enabled for your tenant before they appear in the Dashboard. If you do not see Collections as a content type, contact your Anthill representative.
Create a Collection
-
From the Dashboard, select the Collection content type tab
-
Click New Collection (or + Create)
-
Give the Collection a name and any required metadata
-
Save — the Collection is created empty and ready to have slides added
Add slides to a Collection
-
Open a Slide document from the Dashboard
-
Click Add to Collection (in the document options menu or top bar)
-
In the search dialog, find and select the Collection(s) you want to add this slide to
-
Confirm
Alternatively, open the Collection and use the Add slide button to search for and link existing Slide documents.
Nested Collections
Collections can be added to other Collections, enabling hierarchical content structures. This is useful for organising large programmes where a top-level Collection represents a full campaign and sub-Collections represent individual modules or regions.
To add a Collection inside another Collection:
-
Open the parent Collection
-
Click Add to Collection
-
In the search dialog, select another Collection (Collections appear alongside individual Slide documents)
-
Confirm
Navigation:
Nested Collections appear in the Collections panel with their proper names. Click through to open a nested Collection and see its contents.
Circular reference prevention:
Activator prevents you from adding a Collection to itself or creating loops. A warning is displayed if an addition would create a circular reference.
Note:
Nested Collections is a configurable feature. If you cannot add a Collection to another Collection, this capability may not be enabled in your tenant.
Remove a slide or Collection from a Collection
-
Open the Collection
-
Hover the item you want to remove
-
Select Remove from Collection from the item menu
Removing a slide or sub-Collection from a Collection does not delete the item — it only removes the link.
