Activator 3 supports multiple document types for multi-channel content production. You build content visually in the editor, then publish it to your connected repository (DAM) for downstream review and distribution.
Email (channel)
Create responsive emails designed to render consistently across common email clients.
You author content visually (text, images, dynamic elements). Activator generates the underlying source code on publish.
Slides / eDetailer (channel)
Create slide-based content typically used on iPads in CRM applications (often called IVA/eDetailer).
A Slide is a single canvas where you place content (text, images, links, dynamic elements). Slides are organised into a Presentation.
Briefs (channel)
Create single-page, vertically scrolling documents.
Briefs are often used to specify how content should look across channels and to support handover workflows between local teams and content hubs. Briefs support responsive layouts for mobile-first content.
Banners (channel)
Create HTML banners — both animated and static — for distribution to ad platforms.
A Banner targets multiple viewports (e.g. 300×250, 300×600, 728×90) within a single document, with each viewport rendered from its own HTML source so styling, media, and copy can be tuned per size. Banners are composed of scenes that play in sequence and can be rendered as either animated (with motion) or static (without JavaScript) versions. On publish, Activator generates a per-viewport distribution package along with video and image previews for review.
Availability varies by tenant. Banner support is enabled by Anthill as part of tenant configuration.
Presentation (container)
A Presentation groups Slides (and, depending on your tenant setup, may also group Brief-related deliverables) into a publishable package.
